Highly recommend this book, which is available for preorder and comes out April 14th. I had the privilege of being a beta reader and this book was amazing. This in one of those stories that leave a mark, that sticks with you.Chapter 1 pulled me into the story immediately. I was intrigued to know more and can already see Gods hand at work through Shay and Hoss in Norahs life. As a reader we can’t help but feel for and with the protagonist Norah both as she faces hard things in life and joy in the happy times. In fact as I honestly felt a wide range of emotions in this book. It’s like hearing a singer for the first time and being impressed with the vocal range they can reach. Well I’m surprised and elated at the range of emotions the author makes the reader feel through the life of Norah. I’ve felt everything from fear, anger, grief, frustration, apprehension, hurt, angst, confusion, curiosity, surrender, happiness, joy, relief, elation, thankfulness, appreciation, love, peace and trust.Just a couple of other comments-I loved how the transitions between modern day and Norahs memories are very smooth. Sometimes such transitions can be clunky but that is not the case at all. The author did a great job here.-One word of warning and it’s not a bad thing but I must say chapter 7 and 8 took me through every human emotion and did it seamlessly. I went from being elated to tears of grief to tears of joy and everything in between. I honestly had to just take an emotional breather before continuing.
