Granddaughters ( twins 8) so excited about new author.I loved this collection as a child and I was thrilled to be able to pass down that joy to my niece. The set they come in allows for easy storage for anyone who has run out of space on their bookshelves.Ordered this book set for my Granddaughter and she loves them. Received faster than I expected. She started the first one when she got homeFound these books the summer before 5th grade...in the book section of the now defunct Miller and Rhodes department store. Fast became the favorite place for me. Paid $1.00 for the first 2 books in the series. Gave to my granddaughter for Christmas 2021. She already enjoys mysteries, so wanted to share part of my early reading experience with her. She's a fan, and that says it all.The books will not take that long to read - the print is large so makes it easy to read. My daughter wanted a taste of the books (she's 12) and finds them a quick read and interesting. She noted that younger readers would also find these easy to read.This would have been an ideal gift were it not for the price sticker stuck across the front - I tried to gently remove it but couldn't, so am returning the item. It's a shame as this would have been a perfect gift. Just not with a large, bright yellow price sticker on.I remem reading nancy drew as a child and wonderful to see my 8 yr old enjoying reading them as much.
