The Triplett MS150 measures moisture content in wood (5 to 50%) and other building materials (1. 5 to 33%). Use pinless measurement (6 to 99. 9%) for non-invasive testing. The built-in Low, Medium, and High icons help you quickly indicate moisture level. There's also an audible beeper indicator that increases in speed as the moisture level increases for easily scanning large areas. A Lock button freezes measurement on screen for hard to see areas. The MS100 is an ideal tool for home inspection, water damage restoration, lumber yards, painting, paper mills, textile, clothing manufacturing, and other industries.

This meter takes the guess work out of the equation when trying to figure out if my wood and building materials are too wet or suited to use and be installed. Works well on wood and masonry materials. The pins are sharp but it has a protective cover which also has a built in pin calibration check that is very useful. It provides a known value so I can check it before my work day and assure that it is still accurate. Great tool at a great value and just as accurate as any of the more expensive meters in my opinion.
