Trainers agree that DRY FIRE practice is the best way to learn to shoot well. It makes the pistol a part of you. However, there is a real problem with dry fire practicing the standard way. When the trigger is activated and the firing pin is released, the shooter’s hand must be used to reset the firing pin by cycling the slide. Only then can the trigger return to its reset position. Can you stay on target while this is happening? Is this the muscle memory that you want to build? Absolutely NOT! This problem is solved with our DryFireMag. Now, with the DryFireMag, when you activate your trigger, you get the feel and sound of the firing pin release. With both hands still in the firing position and staying on target, you simply let the DryFireMag reset the trigger with a snap, and you are ready for your next “shot”. Now, that’s the kind of action you need to build the correct muscle memory! It has to be second nature when a real-life situation presents itself. INSTALLS IN SECONDS The DryFireMag is a magazine that uses your own gun and installs in seconds. For dry fire training, have the gun set ready to dry fire and simply insert the DryFireMag into the gun like a normal mag. The best and greatest shooters in the world often dry fire 100 or more times per live round that they shoot. The DryFireMag resets the trigger without having to cycle or rack the slide so you can practice double taps, drills, and realistic multiple shots. Save money on ammo and expensive range frees while still getting the realistic feel and sound of shooting practice. I watched a u tube video with Robert Vogel shooting at Taran’s Range recommending the Dry Fire Mag to practice dry firing. He had some SHOOTER’S use it to show them moving the pistol during dry fire practice. I searched for it and ordered it. I’m using it in my G17 with an Red Dot optical sight that really shows the slightest movement when I dry fire especially when pressing trigger multiple times for speed. It’s really improved my shooting accuracy using a rapid trigger pull rather than having to squeeze the trigger to get the best accuracy. Watching Robert Vogel shoot dbl taps or multiple trigger pulls with 1-2” groups as fast as he can pull the trigger is absolutely impressive. This can only happen with serious dry firing and this Dry Fire Mag is essential for this level of success. It comes with 6 springs that allow 2.5-3 lbs, 3.25-3.75 lbs, 5-5.25lbs, 6.75-7.25lbs, and 9.50-10lbs of trigger pull by just changing spring to obtain the trigger pull you want to duplicate. And extra 5.5 lb spring is provided. I didn’t rate durability as it remains to be seen how long this system holds together pressing trigger perhaps hundreds of times during my practice sessions. I still find adjusting grip, pressure, and trigger finger position to get the least amount of movement is something that only comes with repetition and practice but I’ve already improved vastly in speed and accuracy. I have a Sig P320 that I’d love to get a Dry Fire Mag for, but as of yet it’s not available. I highly recommend this training aid. This item allows you to dry fire practice without having to rack the slide. When you do go tot the range, those groups be tiny ?I have a .40. Brought the mag so I don't have to continuously rack the slide. I also brought the mantisX rail for the mag. When pulling the trigger in the mantisX elite app it constantly registers a double tap. This totally sux. Not saying this is the fault of the mag, just want everyone to know the problem they may encounterRecommend for dry firing to improve yourself at the range.Such a great tool! Test out your draw times, splits and speed overall. The click registered on my splits app. The feel is nearly identical to the pull when loaded. Highly highly recommended! All firearms instructors agree that dry firing is one of the best training methods to do while not at the range. The Dryfiremag magazine resets the trigger without pulling the slide back every time. It helps you focus on what’s important, trigger pull the sight alignment. One of the best training tools I own.I use this with my Glock 22 and 17. I also have it for my MantisX product. This way I don’t have to rack the slide each trigger pull. We’ll worth the money.I use this with the MantisX Elite and G17. Makes for very very good dry fire practice without spending $600-800 on a trainer weapon. Had to return the first one due to a manufacturer defect, but had another one sent same day. So far so good.
