This works great on big bills. It struggles with $10 bills, which are probably not fake, but it should be able to read them. Also, tears throw it off. Flattening the bills helps, though. All in all, it gets the job done and is not fooled by fake bills.Small compact quick accurate not complicated..good value for the fake buckThis works as described but if you have lots of transactions (ie, high traffic retail, bar, club) it's difficult to use b/c the bills can't be wrinkled when loading into the machine.This product works well. It is easy to use and scans quickly. However, be warned - it “sucks” the bills in and spits them back out very fast. Also, if it’s not positioned exactly right or if there’s any rip on the bill, it can rip more. I feel that it’s a little pricey for a machine that is very basic in terms of it’s features, but overall I’ve been happy with it thus far.I've been purchasing these for years and it's saved me a lot of money. Great product for validating bills. One of the best counterfeit bill detectors you can buy. The only one I will buy. Highly recommended.Easy to use and discrete. Picked up a really good fake that our staff missed and the ink pen even rated as real. With the money especially in our situation where we lost $80 in change plus product.It was so easy to set up and use. I tested it out with a real bill and a fake bill, and it read correctly the authenticity of both bills.I sometimes have a hard time getting the bills to feed into the machine. I also hate the fact that it doesn't spit the bills out the backside but insteads pushes it back out the front so it has a forward then backward motion making it a more tedious job if you are trying to put thru many bills.so it goes first forward to read the bill then comes back out backwards so you have to touch the bill twice...... once to feed it thru then another time to take it back out to put aside. instead of just feeding them thru and having them go out the backside allowing you to keep feeding them thru at a steady speed and only having to handle the bills once during the process.
